This article generalizes the work of Ballmann and Światkowski to the case of Reflexive Banach spaces and uniformly convex Busemann spaces, thus giving a new fixed point criterion for groups acting on simplicial complexes.

Study proves existence of precotangent bundles for Grassmannians.
We consider a general regularised interpolation problem for learning a parameter vector from data. The well known representer theorem says that under certain conditions on the regulariser there exists a solution in the linear span of the data points. This is at the core of kernel methods in machine learning as it makes…
Robust SVM optimization in Banach spaces tackles classification uncertainty.
Suppose M be the projective limit of weak symplectic Banach manifolds \{(M_i,φ_{ij})\}_{i,j\in\mathbb N}, where M_i are modeled over reflexive Banach space and σis compatible with the inverse system(defined in the article). We associate to each point x\in M, a Fréchet space H_x(defined in section 3). We prove that if H…
The article presents a description of geometry of Banach structures forming mathematical base of markets arbitrage absence type phenomena. In this connection the role of reflexive subspaces (replacing classically considered finite-dimensional subspaces) and plasterable cones is uncovered.
Develops vector-valued RKBS for neural networks and operators.
New algorithm solves saddle point problems in Banach spaces.
Recently, there has been emerging interest in constructing reproducing kernel Banach spaces (RKBS) for applied and theoretical purposes such as machine learning, sampling reconstruction, sparse approximation and functional analysis. Existing constructions include the reflexive RKBS via a bilinear form, the semi-inner-p…
New theory for clustering in geometric and adaptive settings.
Our main result concerns the following condition: {\bf Condition C.} Let be a Banach space. A function satisfies Condition C if whenever weakly converges to and , then . We assume that there is given a cano…
For (X,L) a polarized toric variety and G a torus of automorphisms of (X,L), denote by Y the GIT quotient X/G. We define a family of fully faithful functors from the category of torus equivariant reflexive sheaves on Y to the category of torus equivariant reflexive sheaves on X. We show, under a genericity assumption o…
Establishes Hermite-Einstein metrics on complex spaces with singularities.
Researchers develop neural networks for approximating functions in Banach spaces.
We prove that any isometry between the unit spheres of -smooth (more generally, absolutely smooth) smooth Banach spaces extends to a linear isometry of the Banach spaces. This answers the famous Tingley's problem in the class of absolutely smooth -dimensional Banach spaces.
Extends Gaussian process theory to Banach spaces.
The paper studies foliations on smooth projective varieties and their properties.
In this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of the Hermitian-Yang-Mills flow on a reflexive sheaf. We prove that the limiting reflexive sheaf is isomorphic to the double dual of the graded sheaf associated to the Harder-Narasimhan-Seshadri filtration, this answers a question by Bando and Siu.
Examines different approaches to Poisson structures in Banach spaces.
New structure on unitary group of Hilbert space.
A Banach symmetric space in the sense of O. Loos is a smooth Banach manifold endowed with a multiplication map such that each left multiplication map (with ) is an involutive automorphism of with the isolated fixed point . We show that morphisms of …
Bayesian reflex models AI learning like the autonomic nervous system.
A {1}-structure on a Banach manifold M (with model space E) is an E-valued 1-form on M that induces on each tangent space an isomorphism onto E. Given a Banach principal bundle P with connected base space and a {1}-structure on P, we show that its automorphism group can be turned into a Banach-Lie group acting smoothly…
A simple quantitative example of a reflexive feedback process and the resulting price dynamics after an exogenous price shock to a financial network is presented. Furthermore, an outline of a theory that connects financial reflexivity, which stems from cross-ownership and delayed or incomplete information, and no-arbit…
The paper uses Banach spaces to analyze neural networks.
Characterizes stable sheaves for equality in orbifold BG inequality.
We study the notion of algebraic tangent cones at singularities of reflexive sheaves. These correspond to extensions of reflexive sheaves across a negative divisor. We show the existence of optimal extensions in a constructive manner, and we prove the uniqueness in a suitable sense. The results here are an algebro-geom…
It is a consequence of the Morse-Bott Lemma on Banach spaces that a smooth Morse-Bott function on an open neighborhood of a critical point in a Banach space obeys a Lojasiewicz gradient inequality with the optimal exponent one half. In this article we prove converses for analytic functions on Banach spaces: If the Loja…
Proves stability in Weyl polytopes using optimal transport.
We investigate some basic questions concerning the relationship between the restricted Grassmannian and the theory of Banach Lie-Poisson spaces. By using universal central extensions of Lie algebras, we find that the restricted Grassmannian is symplectomorphic to symplectic leaves in certain Banach Lie-Poisson spaces, …
Study shows awareness of reflexivity improves LLMs' financial forecasting accuracy.
In this paper we give a complete algebro-geometric characterization of analytic tangent cones of admissible Hermitian-Yang-Mills connections over any reflexive sheaves.
The study integrates Banach manifolds into H-manifolds, integrating Lie algebras into H-groups.
Deep neural networks define suitable reproducing kernel Banach spaces.
This paper extends mirror descent to Banach spaces with reproducing kernels.
New analysis shows a gap between Gaussian RKHS and neural networks on unbounded domains.
The mathematical model proposed by George Soros for his theory of reflexivity is analyzed under the framework of discrete dynamical systems. We show the importance of the notion of fixed points for explaining the behavior of a reflexive system governed by its cognitive and manipulative functions. The interrelationship …
Criterion for projectivisation on klt spaces, characterizing quotients and stability.
Formalizes integral curves on Banach manifolds in Lean.
The aim of this article is to study effective Reifenberg theorems for measures in a Hilbert or Banach space. For Hilbert spaces, we see all the results from continue to hold with no additional restrictions. For a general Banach spaces we will see that the classical Reifenberg theorem holds, and that a we…
The main goal of this paper is to extend the so-called Dirac-Frenkel Variational Principle in the framework of tensor Banach spaces. To this end we observe that a tensor product of normed spaces can be described as a union of disjoint connected components. Then we show that each of these connected components, composed …
Stochastic approximation extended to infinite dimensions, especially Banach spaces.
In this paper we solve support vector machines in reproducing kernel Banach spaces with reproducing kernels defined on nonsymmetric domains instead of the traditional methods in reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces. Using the orthogonality of semi-inner-products, we can obtain the explicit representations of the dual (nor…
New neural architectures with multivariate nonlinearities are optimal in function space.
New kernels defined for various spaces, including measures.
We prove implicit function theorems for mappings on topological vector spaces over valued fields. In the real and complex cases, we obtain implicit function theorems for mappings from arbitrary (not necessarily locally convex) topological vector spaces to Banach spaces.
Improved bounds on curve filling areas in Banach spaces, leading to rigidity of Pu's inequality.
We derive a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of symmetric space structures on quotients of Banach symmetric spaces. Along the way, we investigate the different kinds of reflection subspaces and their Lie triple systems.
