We introduce some chain maps between Khovanov complexes. Each of the chain maps commutes with a chain homotopy map and a retraction maps which obtain a Reidemeister invariance of Khovanov homology.

Maps quandle homology to relative group homology.
We give chain homotopy maps of Khovanov-type link homology of a universal differential. The universal differential, discussed by Mikhail Khovanov, Marco Mackaay, Paul Turner and Pedro Vaz, contains the original Khovanov's differential and Lee's differential. We also consider the conditions of any differential ensuring …
We systematically investigate the problem of representing Markov chains by families of random maps, and which regularity of these maps can be achieved depending on the properties of the probability measures. Our key idea is to use techniques from optimal transport to select optimal such maps. Optimal transport theory a…
Given a closed oriented 3-manifold M, we establish an isomorphism between the Heegaard Floer homology group HF^+(-M) and the embedded contact homology group ECH(M). Starting from an open book decomposition (S,h) of M, we construct a chain map Φ^+ from a Heegaard Floer chain complex associated to (S,h) to an embedded co…

Let be a closed connected manifold, be a Morse map from to a circle, be a gradient-like vector field satisfying the transversality condition. The Novikov construction associates to these data a chain complex . There is a chain homotopy equivalence between and completed simplicial cha…

New proof of chain duality for simplicial complexes.
In this paper, we extend Meek's conjecture (Meek 1997) from directed and acyclic graphs to chain graphs, and prove that the extended conjecture is true. Specifically, we prove that if a chain graph H is an independence map of the independence model induced by another chain graph G, then (i) G can be transformed into H …

In this paper, we introduce the notion of Reidemeister torsion for quasi-isomorphisms of based chain complexes over a field. We call a chain map a quasi-isomorphism if its induced homomorphism between homology is an isomorphism. Our notion of torsion generalizes the torsion of acyclic based chain complexes, and is a ch…
We propose a simple method to produce quandle cocycles from group cocycles, as a modification of Inoue-Kabaya chain map. We further show that, in respect to "universal central extended quandles", the chain map induces an isomorphism between their third homologies. For example, all Mochizuki's quandle 3-cocycles are sho…
We characterize Lie group actions for which there exists, at least locally, an evaluation map that defines a cochain map from the differential complex of invariant forms on a manifold to the De Rham complex for the quotient.
Generative models map simple samples to complex target samples.
We prove that Morrison and Nieh's categorification of the su(3) quantum knot invariant is functorial with respect to tangle cobordisms. This is in contrast to the categorified su(2) theory, which was not functorial as originally defined. We use methods of Bar-Natan to construct explicit chain maps for each variation of…

A method for learning with autoregressive chain-of-thoughts.
Given an open book decomposition (S,h) adapted to a closed, oriented 3-manifold M, we define a chain map from a certain Heegaard Floer chain complex associated to (S,h) to a certain embedded contact homology chain complex associated to (S,h), as defined in arXiv:1008.2734, and prove that it induces an isomorphism on th…
We construct cobordism maps on link Floer homology associated to decorated link cobordisms. The maps are defined on a curved chain homotopy type invariant. We describe the construction, and prove invariance. We also make a comparison with the graph TQFT for Heegaard Floer homology.

In this paper, we examine mapping class group relations of some symplectic manifolds. For each and , we show that the -dimensional Weinstein domain , determined by the degree homogeneous polynomial , has a Boothby-Wang type boundary …
Berestovskii and Plaut introduced the concept of a coverable uniform space when developing their theory of generalized universal covering maps for uniform spaces. Brodskiy, Dydak, LaBuz, and Mitra introduced the concept of a locally uniformly joinable uniform space when developing their theory of generalized uniform co…

A plane curve is a knot diagram in which each crossing is replaced by a 4-valent vertex, and so are dual to a subset of planar quadrangulations. The aim of this paper is to introduce a new tool for sampling diagrams via sampling of plane curves. At present the most efficient method for sampling diagrams is rejection sa…
Floer theory connects dynamics on surfaces to their chain-level theory.
We consider the problem of learning low-dimensional representations for large-scale Markov chains. We formulate the task of representation learning as that of mapping the state space of the model to a low-dimensional state space, called the kernel space. The kernel space contains a set of meta states which are desired …
We study long wave limits for general Schrodinger maps systems into Kahler manifolds with a constraining potential vanishing on a Lagrangian submanifold. We obtain KdV type systems set on the tangent space of the submanifold. Our general theory is applied to study the long wave limit of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation, a…
We develop functoriality for Morse theory, namely, to a pair of Morse-Smale systems and a generic smooth map between the underlying manifolds we associate a chain map between the corresponding Morse complexes, which descends to the correct map on homology. This association does not in general respect composition. We gi…
In this paper, we focus on L-spaces for which the boundary maps of the Heegaard Floer chain complexes vanish. We collect such manifolds systematically by using the smoothing order on links.
Using the diagrammatic calculus for Soergel bimodules developed by B. Elias and M. Khovanov, we show that Rouquier complexes are functorial over braid cobordisms. We explicitly describe the chain maps which correspond to movie move generators.

Motivated by the hinge structure present in protein chains and other molecular conformations, we study the singularities of certain maps associated to body-and-hinge and panel-and-hinge chains. These are sequentially articulated systems where two consecutive rigid pieces are connected by a hinge, that is, a codimension…
The class of chain event graph models is a generalisation of the class of discrete Bayesian networks, retaining most of the structural advantages of the Bayesian network for model interrogation, propagation and learning, while more naturally encoding asymmetric state spaces and the order in which events happen. In this…
We consider finite-sheeted, regular, possibly branched covering spaces of compact surfaces with boundary and the associated liftable and symmetric mapping class groups. In particular, we classify when either of these subgroups coincides with the entire mapping class group of the surface. As a consequence, we construct …
