48 results for 3D TQFTs

Teichmüller TQFT is a unitary 3d topological theory whose Hilbert spaces are spanned by Liouville conformal blocks. It is related but not identical to PSL(2,R) Chern-Simons theory. To physicists, it is known in particular in the context of 3d-3d correspondence and also in the holographic description of Virasoro conform…

result Explicit construction of 3D untwisted Dijkgraaf-Witten theory with defects.

We define a symmetric monoidal (4,3)-category with duals whose objects are certain enriched multi-fusion categories. For every modular tensor category C\mathcal{C}, there is a self enriched multi-fusion category C\mathfrak{C} giving rise to an object of this symmetric monoidal (4,3)-category. We conjecture that the e…

We describe a family of 3d topological B-models whose target spaces are Hilbert schemes of points in C2\mathbb{C}^2. The interfaces separating theories with different numbers of points correspond to braid strands. The Hilbert space of the picture of a closed braid is the HOMFLY-PT homology of the corresponding link.

result New Nahm-sum-like expressions for Virasoro minimal model characters.

It has been conjectured that every (2+1)(2+1)-TQFT is a Chern-Simons-Witten (CSW) theory labelled by a pair (G,λ)(G,λ), where GG is a compact Lie group, and λH4(BG;Z)λ\in H^4(BG;Z) a cohomology class. We study two TQFTs constructed from Jones' subfactor theory which are believed to be counterexamples to this conjecture: one is the…

Almost integral TQFTs were introduced by Gilmer [Duke Math. J. 125 (2004) 389--413]. The aim of this paper is to modify the TQFT of the category of extended 3-cobordisms given by Turaev (in his book: Quantum invariants of knots and 3-manifolds) to obtain an almost integral TQFT.

We find bases for naturally defined lattices over certain rings of integers in the SU(2)-TQFT-theory modules of surfaces. We consider the TQFT where the Kauffman's A variable is a root of unity of order four times an odd prime. As an application, we show that the Frohman Kania-Bartoszynska ideal invariant for 3-manifol…

result Our functor recovers a special case of Kerler-Lyubashenko TQFTs when restricted to trivial decorations.

We construct families of TQFT's over the finite field Z/pZ starting from an integral TQFT obtained by Frohman and Nicas. These TQFT's are likely to describe the constant order contributions of the cyclotomic integer expansions of the Reshetikhin Turaev Ohtsuki theories. Their modular structure is intimately related to …

We construct a cohomology theory for oriented links using singular cobordisms and a special type of 2-dimensional Topological Quantum Field Theory (TQFT), categorifying the quantum sl(2) invariant. In particular, we give a description of the universal dot-free sl(2) foam cohomology for links via a TQFT.

We find two bases for the lattices of the SU(2)-TQFT-theory modules of the torus over given rings of integers.
