We study the inverse spectral problem for weighted projective spaces using wave-trace methods. We show that in many cases one can "hear" the weights of a weighted projective space.

An orbifold version of the Hitchin-Thorpe inequality is used to prove that certain weighted projective spaces do not admit orbifold Einstein metrics. Also, several estimates for the orbifold Yamabe invariants of weighted projective spaces are proved.
We construct new explicit toric scalar-flat K{ä}hler ALE metrics on weighted projective spaces of non-compact type, which we use to obtain smooth extremal K{ä}hler metrics on appropriate resolutions of orbifolds. In particular, we obtain new extremal metrics certain resolutions of weighted projective spaces of compact …
Smooth superspace with special weights has a Fubini-Study form.
Weil-Petersson volumes vary continuously with weighted points on a projective line.
In our previous paper, we discussed the hyperbolization of the configuration space of n(> 4) marked points with weights in the projective line up to projective transformations. A variation of the weights induces a deformation. It was shown that this correspondence of the set of the weights to the Teichmüller space when…
We construct the first examples of families of bad Riemannian orbifolds which are isospectral with respect to the Laplacian but not isometric. In our case these are particular fixed weighted projective spaces equipped with isospectral metrics obtained by a generalization of Schüth's version of the torus method.
A new metric framework for weighted projective spaces improves clustering and analysis.
The first, second and fourth Painlevé equations are studied by means of dynamical systems theory and three dimensional weighted projective spaces $\C P^3(p,q,r,s)$ with suitable weights determined by the Newton diagrams of the equations or the versal deformations of vector fields. Singular normal forms of t…
Extends illumination bodies to non-Euclidean spaces and proves their volume derivative defines surface area.
In this work we study some problems related with algebraic hypersurfaces invariant by foliations on weighted projective spaces generalizing some results known for $\p$, as for example: the number of singularities, with multiplicities, contained in the invariant quasi-smo…
We embed polarised orbifolds with cyclic stabiliser groups into weighted projective space via a weighted form of Kodaira embedding. Dividing by the (non-reductive) automorphisms of weighted projective space then formally gives a moduli space of orbifolds. We show how to express this as a reductive quotient and so a GIT…
We study singular del Pezzo surfaces that are quasi-smooth and well-formed weighted hypersurfaces. We give an algorithm how to classify all of them.
In this paper, we introduce the weighted projective Ricci curvature as an extension of projective Ricci curvature introduced by Z. Shen. We characterize the class of Randers metrics of weighted projective Ricci flat curvature. We find the necessary and sufficient condition under which a Kropina metric has weighted proj…
We study the existence of weighted extremal Kähler metrics in the sense of Apostolov-Calderbank-Gauduchon-Legendre and Lahdili on the total space of an admissible projective bundle over a Hodge Kähler manifold of constant scalar curvature. Admissible projective bundles have been defined by Apostolov-Calderbank-Gauducho…
Rare data in a large-scale database are called outliers that reveal significant information in the real world. The subspace-based outlier detection is regarded as a feasible approach in very high dimensional space. However, the outliers found in subspaces are only part of the true outliers in high dimensional space, in…

We show that Chen-Ruan cohomology is a homotopy invariant in certain cases. We introduce the notion of a T-representation homotopy, which is a stringent form of homotopy under which Chen-Ruan cohomology is invariant. We show that while hyperkahler quotients of the cotangent bundle to a complex vector space by a circle …
Paper converts deep networks to flat, equivalent kernel machines.
We prove the existence of commutative -algebras of Toeplitz operators on every weighted Bergman space over the complex projective space . The symbols that define our algebras are those that depend only on the radial part of the homogeneous coordinates. The algebras presented have an assoc…
In this work, we study a family of Cremona transformations of weighted projective planes which generalize the standard Cremona transformation of the projective plane. Starting from special plane projective curves we construct families of curves in weighted projective planes with special properties. We explain how to co…
We prove residual formulas for vector fields defined on compact complex orbifolds with isolated singularities and give some applications of these on weighted projective spaces.
Real projective surfaces with Hitchin holonomy can be related via grafting.
In an earlier paper we explained how to convert the problem of symplectically embedding one 4-dimensional ellipsoid into another into the problem of embedding a certain set of disjoint balls into \CP^2 by using a new way to desingularize orbifold blow ups Z of the weighted projective space \CP^2_{1,m,n}. We now use a r…

UAPCA projects uncertain data to low dimensions using GMMs.
An index theorem for the anti-self-dual deformation complex on anti-self-dual orbifolds with cyclic quotient singularities is proved. We present two applications of this theorem. The first is to compute the dimension of the deformation space of the Calderbank-Singer scalar-flat Kahler toric ALE spaces. A corollary of t…
We prove the existence and uniqueness of a *projectively equivariant symbol map*, which is an isomorphism between the space of bidifferential operators acting on tensor densities over and that of their symbols, when both are considered as modules over an imbedding of into polynomial vector fields. Th…
While robust parameter estimation has been well studied in parametric density estimation, there has been little investigation into robust density estimation in the nonparametric setting. We present a robust version of the popular kernel density estimator (KDE). As with other estimators, a robust version of the KDE is u…

We introduce a quotient of the affine Temperley-Lieb category that encodes all weight-preserving linear maps between finite-dimensional sl(2)-representations. We study the diagrammatic idempotents that correspond to projections onto extremal weight spaces and find that they satisfy similar properties as Jones-Wenzl pro…
This work is a continuation of the former paper in which principal bundles are given by compact spin toric manifolds and compact connected semisimple Lie groups. In this paper, ambient manifolds are assumed to be compact toric manifolds and Lie groups are compact connected. The main result is that locally smooth manifo…
A purely combinatorial compactification of the configuration space of n (>4) distinct points with equal weights in the real projective line was introduced by M. Yoshida. We geometrize it so that it will be a real hyperbolic cone-manifold of finite volume with dimension n-3. Then, we vary weights for points. The geometr…
Decentralized optimization on dynamic manifolds with improved regret bound.
We announce the following result and give several applications: A Hamiltonian -space (for a torus) with isolated fixed points is cobordant to a disjoint union of weighted projective spaces which are constructed from its fixed point data. The applications concern the Duistermaat-Heckman formula, the topological J…
Concept Factorization (CF) and its variants may produce inaccurate representation and clustering results due to the sensitivity to noise, hard constraint on the reconstruction error and pre-obtained approximate similarities.
