48 results for sl(N) homology

We construct an equivariant colored sl(N)-homology for links, which generalizes both the colored sl(N)-homology defined by the author and the equivariant sl(N)-homology defined by Krasner. The construction is a straightforward generalization of that of the colored sl(N)-homology. The proof of invariance is based on a s…

We classify SL(2;C)-representations of a Brieskorn homology 3-sphere. We show any irreducible representation into SL(2;C) is conjugate to that into either SU(2) or SL(2;R). We also give a construction of SL(2;R)-representations for a Brieskorn homology 3-sphere from PSL(2;R)-representations of the base orbifold fundame…

We introduce an sl(n) homology theory for knots and links in the thickened annulus. To do so, we first give a fresh perspective on sutured annular Khovanov homology, showing that its definition follows naturally from trace decategorifications of enhanced sl(2) foams and categorified quantum gl(m), via classical skew Ho…

For every positive integer nn we construct a bigraded homology theory for links, such that the corresponding invariant of the unknot is closely related to the U(n)-equivariant cohomology ring of CPn1\mathbb{CP}^{n-1}; our construction specializes to the Khovanov-Rozansky slnsl_n-homology. We are motivated by the "univers…

method Using SU(N) representations of knot complements, we compute homology and show isomorphisms.
result Colored sl(N) homology is isomorphic to the cohomology of SU(N) representations of knot complements.

Combining known spectral sequences with a new spectral sequence relating reduced and unreduced sl(N)-homology yields a relationship between the Homflypt-homology of a knot and its sl(N)-concordance invariants. As an application, some of the sl(N)-concordance invariants are shown to be linearly independent.

We define and study a family of link invariants HFKn(L)\mathit{HFK}_{n}(L). Although these homology theories are defined using holomorphic disc counts, they share many properties with slnsl_{n} homology. We construct a bigraded (co)homology theory which depends on a parameter a, and whose graded Euler characteristic is the quantum sl(2) link invariant. We study the relationship between the HOMFLY and sl(N) knot homologies introduced by Khovanov and Rozansky. For each N>0, we show there is a spectral sequence which starts at the HOMFLY homology and converges to the sl(N) homology. As an application, we determine the KR-homology of knots with 9 crossings or fewer.

In this thesis we define and study a categorification of the sl(N)-link polynomial using foams, for N\geq 3. We will announce some results on the values of quantum sl_2 invariants of knots and integral homology spheres.
