We prove that the quantum SO(3)-invariant of an arbitrary 3-manifold MM is always an algebraic integer, if the order of the quantum parameter is co-prime with the order of the torsion part of $H_1(M,\BZ)$. An even stronger integrality, known as cyclotomic integrality, was established by Habiro for integral homology 3-…

This paper provides a construction of a quantum statistical mechanical system associated to knots in the 3-sphere and cyclic branched coverings of the 3-sphere, which is an analog, in the sense of arithmetic topology, of the Bost-Connes system, with knots replacing primes, and cyclic branched coverings of the 3-sphere …

New proof of SL(n) skein algebra for twice punctured sphere, showing it's a polynomial algebra.

problem Proving the structure of SL(n) skein algebra for a specific surface.
method Constructing a linear basis of explicit SL(n) webs, proving spanning and linear independence.
result SL(n) skein algebra of twice punctured sphere is a commutative polynomial algebra in n-1 generators.

We will announce some results on the values of quantum sl_2 invariants of knots and integral homology spheres. Lawrence's universal sl_2 invariant of knots takes values in a fairly small subalgebra of the center of the h-adic version of the quantized enveloping algebra of sl_2. This implies an integrality result on the…

The tail of a quantum spin network in the two-sphere is a qq-series associated to the network. We study the existence of the head and tail functions of quantum spin networks colored by 2n2n. We compute the qq-series for an infinite family of quantum spin networks and give the relation between the tail of these networ…

We prove that the group of area-preserving diffeomorphisms of the 2-sphere admits a non-trivial homogeneous quasimorphism to the real numbers with the following property. Its value on any diffeomorphism supported in a sufficiently small open subset of the sphere equals to the Calabi invariant of the diffeomorphism. Thi…

We construct power series invariants of rational homology 3-spheres from quantum PSU(n)-invariants. The power series can be regarded as perturbative invariants corresponding to the contribution of the trivial connection in the hypothetical Witten's integral. This generalizes a result of Ohtsuki (the n=2n=2 case) which l…

A 3-manifold MM is said to be pp-periodic (p2p\geq 2 an integer) if and only if the finite cyclic group of order pp acts on MM with a circle as the set of fixed points. This paper provides a criterion for periodicity of rational homology three-spheres. Namely, we give a necessary condition for a rational homology t…

Given a rational homology 3-sphere M with the first integral homology of rank b and a link L inside M, colored by odd numbers, we construct a unified invariant I_{M,L} belonging to a modification of the Habiro ring where b is inverted. Our unified invariant dominates the whole set of the SO(3) Witten-Reshetikhin-Turaev…

We show that using the family of adapted Kähler polarizations of the phase space of a compact, simply connected, Riemannian symmetric space of rank-1, the obtained field HcorrH^{corr} of quantum Hilbert spaces produced by geometric quantization including the half-form correction is flat if MM is the 3-dimensional sphere …

We give a proof of the LMO conjecture which say that for any simply connectd simple Lie group GG, the LMO invariant of rational homology 3-spheres recovers the perturvative invariant τPGτ^{PG}. By Habiro-Le theorem, this implies that the LMO invariant is the universal quantum invariant of integral homology 3-spheres.

result Physical Hilbert space coincides with Uq(su(2)) intertwiners, consistent with LQG area spectrum.

Our aim is to prove that two formal power series of importance to quantum topology are Gevrey. These series are the Kashaev invariant of a knot (reformulated by Huynh and the second author) and the Gromov norm of the LMO of an integral homology 3-sphere. It follows that the power series associated to a simple Lie algeb…

4-manifolds have special topological properties which can be used to get a different view on quantum mechanics. One important property (connected with exotic smoothness) is the natural appearance of 3-manifold wild embeddings (Alexanders horned sphere) which can be interpreted as quantum states. This relation can be co…

Here we study geodesics connecting two given points on odd-dimensional spheres respecting the Hopf fibration. This geodesic boundary value problem is completely solved in the case of 3-dimensional sphere and some partial results are obtained in the general case. The Carnot-Carathéodory distance is calculated. We also p…

Let f be an integer greater than one. We study three progressively finer equivalence relations on closed 3-manifolds generated by Dehn surgery with denominator f: weak f-congruence, f-congruence, and strong f-congruence. If f is odd, weak f-congruence preserves the ring structure on cohomology with Z_f-coefficients. We…

A single qubit may be represented on the Bloch sphere or similarly on the 33-sphere S3S^3. Our goal is to dress this correspondence by converting the language of universal quantum computing (UQC) to that of 33-manifolds. A magic state and the Pauli group acting on it define a model of UQC as a positive operator-value…
