The study classifies holomorphic projective connections on complex threefolds.
It is understood now that all projective (and conformal) invariants of Riemannian metrics can be found by a transparent construction based on representation theory. So this article with a partial and quite cumbersome construction of projective invariants become obsolete.
We study the equivalence problem under projective transformation for CR-hypersurfaces of complex projective space. A complete set of projective differential invariants for analytic hypersurfaces is given. The self-dual strongly C-linearly convex hypersurfaces are characterized.

The paper studies new curvature properties in Finsler geometry.
New homotopy types and invariants defined for knots.
In this work an intrinsic projectively invariant distance is used to establish a new approach to the study of projective geometry in Finsler space. It is shown that the projectively invariant distance previously defined is a constant multiple of the Finsler distance in certain case. As a consequence, two projectively r…
Geodesically equivalent Finsler metrics share invariant volume forms and first integrals.
The paper extends a formula linking surface curvature to projection invariants.
General invariants of a geometric mapping of a symmetric affine connection space are obtained in this paper. These invariants are generalizations of the previous obtained basic invariants (see [16]). Moreover, these invariants are related with the Thomas projective parameter and the Weyl projective tensor.
Study on projective structures on a hyperbolic 3-orbifold using tetrahedra.
This paper deals essentially with affine or projective transformations of Lie groups endowed with a flat left invariant affine or projective structure. These groups are called flat affine or flat projective Lie groups. Our main results determine Lie groups admitting flat bi-invariant affine or projective structures. Th…
A projective geometry is an equivalence class of torsion free connections sharing the same unparametrised geodesics; this is a basic structure for understanding physical systems. Metric projective geometry is concerned with the interaction of projective and pseudo-Riemannian geometry. We show that the BGG machinery of …
We consider quantum invariants of 3-manifolds associated with arbitrary simple Lie algebras. Using the symmetry principle we show how to decompose the quantum invariant as the product of two invariants, one of them is the invariant corresponding to the projective group. We then show that the projective quantum invarian…
Listed Kaehler-Einstein manifolds in complex projective spaces.
Only products of projective lines have vanishing Futaki invariants for all Kähler classes.
An orbifold version of the Hitchin-Thorpe inequality is used to prove that certain weighted projective spaces do not admit orbifold Einstein metrics. Also, several estimates for the orbifold Yamabe invariants of weighted projective spaces are proved.
In this paper the projective curvature invariants of a complex Finsler space are obtained. By means of these invariants the notion of complex Douglas space is then defined. A special approach is devoted to obtain the equivalence conditions that a complex Finsler space should be Douglas. It is shown that any weakly Kähl…
Here, a non-linear analysis method is applied rather than classical one to study projective changes of Finsler metrics. More intuitively, a projectively invariant pseudo-distance is introduced and characterized with respect to the Ricci tensor and its covariant derivatives.
We show that, for both the conformal and projective groups, all the differential invariants of a generic surface in three-dimensional space can be written as combinations of the invariant derivatives of a single differential invariant. The proof is based on the equivariant method of moving frames.
We compute the Dijkgraaf-Witten invariants of surfaces in terms of projective representations of groups. As an application we prove that the complex Dijkgraaf-Witten invariants of surfaces of positive genus are positive integers.
Here we treat the problem: given a torsion-free connection do its geodesics, as unparametrised curves, coincide with the geodesics of an Einstein metric? We find projective invariants such that the vanishing of these is necessary for the existence of such a metric, and in generic settings the vanishing of these is also…
Two new invariants that are closely related to Milnor's curvature-torsion invariant are introduced. The first, the spiral index of a knot, captures the minimum number of maxima among all knot projections that are free of inflection points. This invariant is closely related to both the bridge and braid index of the knot…

Classifies geodesic flows on projective plane with potential field.
In this work we study some problems related with algebraic hypersurfaces invariant by foliations on weighted projective spaces generalizing some results known for $\p$, as for example: the number of singularities, with multiplicities, contained in the invariant quasi-smo…
In this paper, we consider projective deformation of the geodesic system of Finsler spaces by holonomy invariant functions: Starting by a Finsler spray and a holonomy invariant function , we investigate the metrizability property of the projective deformation . We prove that for any holono…
We show the correspondence between left invariant flat projective structures on Lie groups and certain prehomogeneous vector spaces. Moreover by using the classification theory of prehomogeneous vector spaces, we classify complex Lie groups admitting irreducible left invariant flat complex projective structures. As a r…
We studied rules of transformations of Christoffel symbols under third type almost geodesic mappings in this paper. From this research, we obtained some new invariants of these mappings. These invariants are analogies of Thomas projective parameter and Weyl projective tensor.
We prove a continuity property for ending invariants of convergent sequences of Kleinian surface groups. We also analyze the bounded curve sets of such groups and show that their projections to non-annular subsurfaces lie a bounded Hausdorff distance from geodesics joining the projections of the ending invariants.
The paper characterizes new invariant spin spinors on projective spaces.
We construct a family of canonical connections and surrounding basic theory for almost complex manifolds that are equipped with an affine connection. This framework provides a uniform approach to treating a range of geometries. In particular we are able to construct an invariant and efficient calculus for conformal alm…
Geometric techniques reveal new insights into Gromov-Witten invariants.
In this paper we study the invariant metrizability and projective metrizability problems for the special case of the geodesic spray associated to the canonical connection of a Lie group. We prove that such canonical spray is projectively Finsler metrizable if and only if it is Riemann metrizable. This result means that…
We present a number of conditions which are necessary for an n-dimensional projective structure (M,[nabla]) to include the Levi-Civita connection nabla of some metric on M. We provide an algorithm, which effectively checks if a Levi-Civita connection is in the projective class and, in the positive, which finds this con…
Solves classical problem with Kähler-Einstein metrics in complex projective spaces.
The paper defines a new equivalence relation for knot projections and finds an infinite number of distinct classes.
This study is motivated by the researches in the field of invariants of geodesic and conformal mappings presented in (T. Y. Thomas, [22]) and (H. Weyl, [25]). The Thomas projective parameter and the Weyl projective tensor are generalized in this article. Generators for vector spaces of invariants of geometric mappings …
We classify Kähler-Einstein manifolds which admit a Kähler immersion into a finite dimensional complex projective space endowed with the Fubini-Study metric, whose codimention is not greater than 3 and whose metric is rotation invariant.

Study Morse functions on projective plane using Reeb graphs.
We consider equitorsion second type almost geodesic mappings of a non-symmetric affine connection space in this article. Using different computational methods, we obtained some invariants of these mappings. Last generalized Thomas projective parameter and Weyl projective tensor as invariants of a second type almost geo…
We carry out the programme of R. Liouville \cite{Liouville} to construct an explicit local obstruction to the existence of a Levi--Civita connection within a given projective structure on a surface. The obstruction is of order 5 in the components of a connection in a projective class. It can be expressed as a poi…
We prove that any real Lie group of dimension \leq 5 admits a left invariant flat projective structure. We also prove that a real Lie group L of dimension \leq 5 admits a left invariant flat affine structure if and only if the Lie algebra of L is not perfect.
