Three decades ago Cornalba-Harris proved a fundamental positivity result for divisor classes associated to families of stable curves. In this paper we establish an analogous positivity result for divisor classes associated to families of stable differentials.

Alternative proof for non-existence of complete curves in differential strata.
We prove the existence of non-positively curved Kähler-Einstein metrics with cone singularities along a given simple normal crossing divisor on a compact Kähler manifold, under a technical condition on the cone angles, and we also discuss the case of positively-curved Kähler-Einstein metrics with cone singularities. As…
In this paper, Floer homology for Lagrangian submanifolds in an open symplectic manifold given as the complement of a smooth divisor is discussed. The main new feature of this construction is that we do not make any assumption on positivity or negativity of the divisor. To achieve this goal, we use a compactification o…
Let be an holomorphic surjective map between compact Kähler manifolds and let be an effective divisor on with generically simple normal crossings support and coefficients in . Provided that the adjoint canonical bundle of the generic fiber is ample, we show that the current obtai…
Let X be a complex projective variety and D a reduced divisor on X. Under a natural minimal condition on the singularities of the pair (X, D), which includes the case of smooth X with simple normal crossing D, we ask for geometric criteria guaranteeing various positivity conditions for the log-canonical divisor K_X+D. …
The aim of this paper is to study compact 5--manifolds which carry a positive Sasakian structure. Strong restrictions are derived for the integral homology groups. In some cases, all positive Sasakian structures are classified. A key step is to study log Del Pezzo surfaces whose boundary divisor contains positive genus…
Study curvature of blown-up manifold, finds negative holomorphic sectional curvature.
We show that spheres of positive constant curvature with () conic points converge to a sphere of positive constant curvature with two conic points (or called an (American) football) in Gromov-Hausdorff topology when the corresponding singular divisors converge to a critical divisor in the sense of Troyanov.…

Let be a smooth divisor in a compact complex manifold and let . We show that in any positive co-homology class on there is a Kähler metric with cone angle along which has bounded Ricci curvature. We use this result together with the Aubin-Yau continuity method to give an alternative pr…
In this paper, we study a projective klt pair with the nef anti-log canonical divisor and its maximally rationally connected fibration . We prove that the numerical dimension of the anti-log canonical divisor on coincides with that of the anti-log canonical div…
We study the asymptotic behaviour of the partial density function associated to sections of a positive hermitian line bundle that vanish to a particular order along a fixed divisor . Assuming the data in question is invariant under an -action (locally around ) we prove that this density function has a distri…
Geodesic rays of class C^{1,1} are constructed for any test configuration of a positive line bundle L on X using resolution of singularities. The construction reduces to finding a subsolution of the corresponding Monge-Ampere equation. Geometrically, this is accomplished by the use a positive line bundle on the resolut…
Study finds existence and non-uniqueness of cone spherical metrics on compact Riemann surfaces.
In this paper, we study the stability of the conical Kähler-Ricci flows on Fano manifolds. That is, if there exists a conical Kähler-Einstein metric with cone angle along the divisor, then for any sufficiently close to , the corresponding conical Kähler-Ricci flow converges to a conical Kähler-Einstein me…
We survey our recent papers (some being joint ones) about the relation between the geometry of a compact Kähler manifold and the existence of automorphisms of positive entropy on it. We also use the language of log minimal model program (LMMP) in biraitonal geometry, but not its more sophisticated technical part. We gi…
Study contact geometry of symplectic divisors, invariant under specific transformations.
We prove that square integrable holomorphic functions (with respect to a plurisubharmonic weight) can be extended in a square integrable manner from certain singular hypersurfaces (which include uniformly flat, normal crossing divisors) to entire functions in affine space. This provides evidence for a conjecture regard…
Study on scattering geodesics on modular surface and their sojourn times.
In this paper, we extend the existence and regularity theorems for Kähler-Einstein metrics having conic singularities along a simple normal crossing divisor to the case of normal crossing divisor, i.e. when components of the divisor are allowed to intersect themselves transversely.
The paper extends intersection theory for b-divisors, proving monotonicity and volume inequalities.
We introduce a compactification of the space of simple positive divisors on a Riemann surface, as well as a compactification of the universal family of punctured surfaces above this space. These are real manifolds with corners. We then study the space of constant curvature metrics on this Riemann surface with prescribe…
The paper disproves Kaplansky's unit conjecture for certain groups.
Study Lagrangian Floer theory in smooth divisor complements.
This article concerns exact results on the minimum number of colors of a Fox coloring over the integers modulo r, of a link with non-null determinant. Specifically, we prove that whenever the least prime divisor of the determinant of such a link and the modulus r is 2, 3, 5, or 7, then the minimum number of colors is 2…
This article considers the existence and regularity of Kahler-Einstein metrics on a compact Kahler manifold with edge singularities with cone angle along a smooth divisor . We prove existence of such metrics with negative, zero and some positive cases for all cone angles . The results in the po…

Fix a K3 lattice of rank two and a big and nef divisor that is positive enough. We prove that the generic -polarised K3 surface has an integral nodal rational curve in the linear system , in particular strengthening previous work of the first named author. The technique is by degeneration, and also …

Poisson structures of divisor-type are those whose degeneracy can be captured by a divisor ideal, which is a locally principal ideal sheaf with nowhere-dense quotient support. This is a large class of Poisson structures which includes all generically-nondegenerate Poisson structures, such as log-, -, elliptic, ell…
For homogeneous simply connected Hodge manifolds it is proved that the set of coherent vectors orthogonal to a given one is the divisor responsible for the homogeneous holomorphic line bundle of the coherent vectors. In particular, for naturally reductive spaces, the divisor is the cut locus.
The paper proves finiteness for stable Lagrangian fibrations with a given divisor.
By a theorem of Greene and Wu, a noncompact connected Riemannian manifold admits a smooth strictly subharmonic exhaustion function. Demailly provided an elementary proof of this fact. A further simplification of Demailly's proof and some (mostly known) applications are described. Applications include the fact that the …

Recently it was shown by H. Guenancia and M. Paun that a singular metric satisfying the conical Kahler-Einstein equation with a simple normal crossing divisor is equivalent to a conical metric along that divisor. In this note, we present an alternative proof of their theorem.
