Project infinite time series graphs to finite marginal models using number theory.
We define an infinite series of translation coverings of Veech's double-n-gon for odd n greater or equal to 5 which share the same Veech group. Additionally we give an infinite series of translation coverings with constant Veech group of a regular n-gon for even n greater or equal to 8. These families give rise to expl…
Infinite families of quantum modular invariants for 3-manifolds are discovered.
Lueck expressed the Gromov norm of a knot complement in terms of an infinite series that can be computed from a presentation of the fundamental group of the knot complement. In this note we show that Lueck's formula, applied to torus knots, yields surprising power series expansions for the logarithm function. This gene…

This paper opens the series of articles supplemental to the series (hep-th/9405050,q-alg/9610026,q-alg/9611003,q-alg/9611019,funct-an/9611003), which also lies in lines of general ideology exposed in the review (mp_arc/96-477). The main purpose of the activity, which has its origin and motivation presumably in the auth…
In the present paper, the notion of -complex Finsler space with Infinite Series ()- metric is defined. The Fundamental metric fields , , their determinants and the inverse of these tensor fields are obtained. Also some properties of these spaces are studied.

New curves share invariant up to any fixed order.
For any group G, we define a new characteristic series related to the derived series, that we call the torsion-free derived series of G. Using this series and the Cheeger-Gromov rho-invariant, we obtain new real-valued homology cobordism invariants rho_n for closed (4k-1)-dimensional manifolds. For 3-dimensional manifo…
Proves convergence of normal forms for infinite-dimensional Lie pseudo-group actions.
A new infinite series of Einstein metrics is constructed explicitly on S^2 x S^3, and the non-trivial S^3-bundle over S^2, containing infinite numbers of inhomogeneous ones. They appear as a certain limit of a nearly extreme 5-dimensional AdS Kerr black hole. In the special case, the metrics reduce to the homogeneous E…
Let M be a closed n-dimensional manifold, n > 2, whose first real cohomology group H 1 (M ; R) is non-zero. We present a general method for constructing a Morse 1-form on M , closed but non-exact, and a pseudo-gradient X such that the differential X of the Novikov complex of the pair (, X) has at leas…

Computes link invariants in real projective 3-space using topological vertex.
With the -family of cyclic triangulations we introduce a rich class of vertex-transitive triangulations of surfaces. In particular, there are infinite series of cyclic -equivelar triangulations of orientable and non-orientable surfaces for every , , and every , . Series of cy…
We sharpen the construction of representation space in the paper "Principal Series Representations of Infinite Dimensional Lie Groups II: Construction of Induced Representations". We show that the principal series representation spaces constructed there, are completions of spaces of sections of Hilbert bundles rather t…
This paper reformulates the -adic Littlewood Conjecture using infinite loops.
Infinite-activity completely random measures (CRMs) have become important building blocks of complex Bayesian nonparametric models. They have been successfully used in various applications such as clustering, density estimation, latent feature models, survival analysis or network science. Popular infinite-activity CRMs…
The Habiro ring of a number field uses power series to study algebraic K-theory.

Neural ODEs simplified using Chen-Fliess series for Rademacher complexity analysis.
Using classical Taylor series techniques, we develop a unified approach to pricing and implied volatility for European-style options in a general local-stochastic volatility setting. Our price approximations require only a normal CDF and our implied volatility approximations are fully explicit (ie, they require no spec…

The paper defines and classifies Cappell-Shaneson polynomials.
Multi-task learning leverages shared information among data sets to improve the learning performance of individual tasks. The paper applies this framework for data where each task is a phase-shifted periodic time series. In particular, we develop a novel Bayesian nonparametric model capturing a mixture of Gaussian proc…
We establish two-sided bounds for the complexity of two infinite series of closed orientable 3-dimensional hyperbolic manifolds, the Lobell manifolds and the Fibonacci manifolds.
The tail of a quantum spin network in the two-sphere is a -series associated to the network. We study the existence of the head and tail functions of quantum spin networks colored by . We compute the -series for an infinite family of quantum spin networks and give the relation between the tail of these networ…

Given a hyperbolic surface , a classic result of Birman and Series states that for each , all complete geodesics with at most self-intersections can only pass through a certain nowhere dense, Hausdorff dimension 1 subset of . We define a self-intersection function for each complete geodesic, which bounds t…
In every point of a Kähler manifold there exist special holomorphic coordinates well adapted to the underlying geometry. Comparing these Kähler normal coordinates with the Riemannian normal coordinates defined via the exponential map we prove that their difference is a universal power series in the curvature tensor and…
Drawing on some recent results that provide the formalism necessary to definite stationarity for infinite random graphs, this paper initiates the study of statistical and learning questions pertaining to these objects. Specifically, a criterion for the existence of a consistent test for complex hypotheses is presented,…
In order to study large variations or fluctuations of finite or infinite sequences (time series), we bring to light an 1868 paper of Crofton and the (Cauchy-)Crofton theorem. After surveying occurrences of this result in the literature, we introduce the inconstancy of a sequence and we show why it seems more pertinent …

We study groups of some virtual knots with small number of crossings and prove that there is a virtual knot with long lower central series which, in particular, implies that there is a virtual knot with residually nilpotent group. This gives a possibility to construct invariants of virtual knots using quotients by term…
Study evaluates initialization strategies for infinite hidden Markov models.
This paper is the last paper in a series of five papers. Building on earlier papers in this series, we prove an analogue of Kuratowski's characterisation of graph planarity for three dimensions. More precisely, a simply connected 2-dimensional simplicial complex embeds in 3-space if and only if it has no obstruction fr…
The coupled KdV-mKdV system arises as the classical part of one of superextensions of the KdV equation. For this system, we prove its complete integrability, i.e., existence of a recursion operator and of infinite series of symmetries.
