Mathematically proves SYZ conjecture for conifold transition.
The paper proves a precise SYZ conjecture for toric Calabi-Yau manifolds with singular fibers.
Researchers match complex affine structures in mirror constructions.
In this note, we study the SYZ mirror construction for a toric Calabi-Yau manifold using instanton corrections coming from Woodward's quasimap Floer theory instead of Fukaya-Oh-Ohta-Ono's Lagrangian Floer theory. We show that the resulting SYZ mirror coincides with the one written down via physical means (as expected).
In the previous paper, the author defined equivariant Floer cohomology for a complete intersection in a toric variety and showed that it is isomorphic to the small quantum D-module after a mirror transformation when the first Chern class c_1(M) of the tangent bundle is nef. In this paper, even when c_1(M) is not nef, w…

New hyperbolic knots with convex Upsilon invariants constructed.
Mathematical framework for brane quantization using SYZ mirror symmetry.
In this survey paper, we briefly review various aspects of the SYZ approach to mirror symmetry for non-Calabi-Yau varieties, focusing in particular on Lagrangian fibrations and wall-crossing phenomena in Floer homology. Various examples are presented, some of them new.
The paper proves mirror symmetry for del Pezzo surfaces and computes related structures.
Floer homology connects to quiver Hecke algebras in Coulomb branches.
Inspired by the paper on quantum knots and knot mosaics [23] and grid diagrams (or arc presentations), used extensively in the computations of Heegaard-Floer knot homology [2,3,7,24], we construct the more concise representation of knot mosaics and grid diagrams via mirror-curves. Tame knot theory is equivalent to knot…
This paper defines a spectral sequence connecting knot homologies.
The -equivalence is an equivalence relation on the knot concordance group. This relation can be seen as a certain stable equivalence on knot Floer complexes , and many concordance invariants derived from Heegaard Floer theory are invariant under the equivalence. In this paper, we show that any genus …
For each sphere with three orbifold points, we construct an algorithm to compute the open Gromov-Witten potential, which serves as the quantum-corrected Landau-Ginzburg mirror and is an infinite series in general. This gives the first class of general-type geometries whose full potentials can be computed. As a conseque…
The objective of this paper is to clarify the relationships between the quantum D-module and equivariant Floer theory. Equivariant Floer theory was introduced by Givental in his paper ``Homological Geometry''. He conjectured that the quantum D-module of a symplectic manifold is isomorphic to the equivariant Floer cohom…
Ozsvath and Szabo have established an algebraic relationship, in the form of a spectral sequence, between the reduced Khovanov homology of (the mirror of) a link L in S^3 and the Heegaard Floer homology of its double-branched cover. This relationship has since been recast by the authors as a specific instance of a broa…
Let K in S^3 be a knot, and let \widetilde{K} denote the preimage of K inside its double branched cover, Σ(K). We prove, for each integer n > 1, the existence of a spectral sequence from Khovanov's categorification of the reduced n-colored Jones polynomial of the mirror of K to the knot Floer homology of (Σ(K),\widetil…

New spectral sequence connects Khovanov homology to real monopole Floer homology.
We study the conjugation involution in Seiberg-Witten theory in the context of the Ozsváth-Szabó and Bloom's spectral sequence for the branched double cover of a link in . We prove that there exists a spectral sequence of -modules (where has degree ) which converges to $\widetilde{\m…

Study proves 0-surgery characterizes infinitely many knots.
Information geometry applies concepts in differential geometry to probability and statistics and is especially useful for parameter estimation in exponential families where parameters are known to lie on a Riemannian manifold. Connections between the geometric properties of the induced manifold and statistical properti…

We compute the Heegaard-Floer homology for the family Sigma(2,3,6n+1) of Brieskorn spheres using the algorithm by P. Ozsvath and Z. Szabo
The present paper deals with mirror symmetry aspects of compact ``barely'' manifolds, that is, manifolds of the form (CY. We propose that the mirror of any barely manifold is another barely one and which is constructed as a fibration of the \emph{mirror} of the CY base. Also,…
We exhibit an infinite family of knots with isomorphic knot Heegaard Floer homology. Each knot in this infinite family admits a nontrivial genus two mutant which shares the same total dimension in both knot Floer homology and Khovanov homology. Each knot is distinguished from its genus two mutant by both knot Floer hom…
We show that an infinite family of contractible 4-manifolds have the same boundary as a special type of plumbing. Consequently their Ozsvath--Szabo invariants can be calculated algorithmically. We run this algorithm for the first few members of the family and list the resulting Heegaard--Floer homologies. We also show …
In principle, Floer theory can be extended to define homotopy invariants of families of equivalent objects (e.g. Hamiltonian isotopic symplectomorphisms, 3-manifolds, Legendrian knots, etc.) parametrized by a smooth manifold B. The invariant of a family consists of a filtered chain homotopy type, which gives rise to a …
Formula for satellite operators using knot Floer homology.
The study constructs optimal tori on Fano manifolds and confirms mirror symmetry.
Surgery exact triangles in various 3-manifold Floer homology theories provide an important tool in studying and computing the relevant Floer homology groups. These exact triangles relate the invariants of 3-manifolds, obtained by three different Dehn surgeries on a fixed knot. In this paper, the behavior of -ins…

EM algorithm converges in KL divergence for exponential families via mirror descent.
In this note, we exhibit infinite families of tight non-fillable contact manifolds supported by planar open books with vanishing Heegaard Floer contact invariants. Moreover, we also exhibit an infinite such family where the supported manifold is hyperbolic.
Paper proves all Lagrangians unobstructed if one is, using non-archimedean analytic structure.
In this paper we find a family of knots with trivial Alexander polynomial, and construct two non-isotopic Seifert surfaces for each member in our family. In order to distinguish the surfaces we study the sutured Floer homology invariants of the sutured manifolds obtained by cutting the knot complements along the Seifer…
We compute the Bott-Morse Floer cohomology of the Clifford torus in $\CP^n$ with all possible spin-structures. Each spin structure is known to determine an orientation of the moduli space of holomorphic discs, and we analyze the change of orientation according to the change of spin structure of the Clifford torus. Also…
The MAP estimate's log-likelihood sub-optimality is hard to bound in general.
The paper constructs toric vector bundles using spectral networks and non-abelianization.
Given, in the Lagrangian torus fibration , a Lagrangian submanifold , endowed with a trivial flat connection, the corresponding mirror object is constructed on the dual fibration by means of a family of Morse homologies associated to the generating function of , and it is provided with a holomorphic s…
We complete the first step in a two-part program proposed by Baker, Grigsby, and the author to prove that Berge's construction of knots in the three-sphere which admit lens space surgeries is complete. The first step, which we prove here, is to show that a knot in a lens space with a three-sphere surgery has simple (in…
