Biholomorphisms of transport twistor spaces are rigid under certain conditions.

problem Rigidity of biholomorphisms in transport twistor spaces.
method Proof of rigidity for biholomorphisms between transport twistor spaces of simple or Anosov surfaces.
result Biholomorphisms are rigid, up to constant rescaling and the antipodal map, being lifts of orientation-preserving isometries.

We survey recent developments which led to the proof of the Benson-Gordon conjecture on Kähler quotients of solvable Lie groups. In addition we prove that the Albanese morphism of a Kähler manifold which is a homotopy torus is a biholomorphic map. The latter result then implies the classification of compact aspherical …

As in [5], we study holomorphic maps of positive degree between compact complex manifolds, and prove that any holomorphic map of degree one from a compact complex manifold to itself is biholomorphic. This conclusion confirms that under a mild restriction the holomorphic Gromov relation ">_" is indeed a partial order.

We show that a map between complex-analytic manifolds, at least one of which is in the Fujiki class, is a biholomorphism under a natural condition on the second cohomologies. We use this to establish that, with mild restrictions, a certain relation of "domination" introduced by Gromov is in fact a partial order.

We consider a log-Riemann surface S\mathcal{S} with a finite number of ramification points and finitely generated fundamental group. The log-Riemann surface is equipped with a local holomorphic difffeomorphism $π: \mathcal{S} \to \C$. We prove that S\mathcal{S} is biholomorphic to a compact Riemann surface with finit…

In this paper we establish two boundary versions of the Schwarz lemma. The first is for general holomorphic self maps of bounded convex domains with C2C^2 boundary. This appears to be the first boundary Schwarz lemma for general holomorphic self maps that requires no strong pseudoconvexity or finite type assumptions. T…

Let MM be a nn-dimensional complex manifold and f,g:MMf,g:M\to M two distinct holomorphic self-maps. Suppose that ff and gg coincide on a globally irreducible compact hypersurface SMS\subset M. We show that if one of the two maps is a local biholomorphism around S=SSing(S)S'=S-\text{Sing}(S) and, if needed, SS' sits into MM

We study the class of holomorphic and isometric submersions between finite-type Teichmüller spaces. We prove that, with potential exceptions coming from low-genus phenomena, any such map is a forgetful map Tg,nTg,m\mathcal{T}_{g,n} \rightarrow \mathcal{T}_{g,m} obtained by filling in punctures. This generalizes a classical r…

We give sharp conditions on a local biholomorphism F:XCnF:X \to \mathbb C^{n} which ensure global injectivity. For n2n \geq 2, such a map is injective if for each complex line lCnl \subset \mathbb C^{n}, the pre-image F1(l)F^{-1}(l) embeds holomorphically as a connected domain into CP1\mathbb C \mathbb P^{1}, the embedding bei…

We introduce and study the notion of a biholomorphic gerbe with connection. The biholomorphic gerbe provides a natural geometrical framework for generalized Kahler geometry in a manner analogous to the way a holomorphic line bundle is related to Kahler geometry.
