We show that if a shrinking soliton is asymptotic to a cone along an end then the isometry group of the cross-section of the cone embeds in the isometry group of the end of the shrinker. We also provide sufficient conditions for the isometries of the end to extend to the entire shrinker.

Sharp stability of isometries on Heisenberg group proven.
Let X be a Hadamard manifold and a discrete group of isometries of X which contains an axial isometry without invariant flat half plane. We study the behavior of conformal densities on the geometric limit set of in order to derive a new asymptotic estimate for the growth rate of closed geodesics in not necessar…
We provide a proof and analyze the asymptotic behavior of a formula for the linking number of line segments.
We show that if a group acts by isometries on a metric space which has asymptotic property C, such that the quasi-stabilizers of a point have asymptotic dimension less than or equal to , then itself has asymptotic property C.
Study limits of Kähler submanifolds and prove no holomorphic isometries.

Geometric quantization extended to big line bundles.
The study examines the structure of certain subgroups of quasi-isometry groups of Euclidean spaces, proving their nontriviality and properties.
We develop a new method for the calculation of the heat trace asymptotics of the Laplacian on symmetric spaces that is based on a representation of the heat semigroup in form of an average over the Lie group of isometries and obtain a generating function for the whole sequence of all heat invariants.
This note will prove a discreteness criterion for groups of orientation-preserving isometries of the hyperbolic space which contain a parabolic element. It can be viewed as a generalization of the well-known results of Shimizu-Leutbecher and Jorgensen in dimensions 2 and 3, and is closely related to Waterman's inequali…
The aim of this paper is to investigate properties preserved and co-preserved by coarsely -to-1 functions, in particular by the quotient maps induced by a finite group acting by isometries on a metric space . The coarse properties we are mainly interested in are related to asymptotic dimension a…
In this article, we classify the set of asymptotic mass-like invariants for asymptotically hyperbolic metrics. It turns out that the standard mass is just one example (but probably the most important one) among the two families of invariants we find. These invariants are attached to finite-dimensional representations o…
Study shows inflation in 3+1D cosmologies with bounded scalar potential and specific symmetry.
We construct a form of swallowtail singularity in R^3 which uses coordinate transformation on the source and isometry on the target. As an application, we classify configurations of asymptotic curves and characteristic curves near swallowtail.
In this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of the volume of spheres in metric measure spaces. We first introduce a general setting adapted to the study of asymptotic isoperimetry in a general class of metric measure spaces. We then introduce a notion of "being asymptotically isoperimetric" for a family of finite a…
In this note, we propose an approach to the study of the analogue for unipotent harmonic bundles of Schmid's Nilpotent Orbit Theorem. Using this approach, we construct harmonic metrics on unipotent bundles over quasi-compact Kähler manifolds with carefully controlled asymptotics near the compactifying divisor; such a m…
We show that if X is a piecewise Euclidean 2-complex with a cocompact isometry group, then every 2-quasiflat in X is at finite Hausdorff distance from a subset which is locally flat outside a compact set, and asymptotically conical.
Geometric models help classify infinite-type surface mapping class groups.
This work proves the asymptotic freeness of layerwise Jacobians in MLPs with Haar orthogonal matrices.
We prove that any asymptotically locally Euclidean scalar-flat Kähler 4-orbifold whose isometry group contains a 2-torus is isometric, up to an orbifold covering, to a quaternionic-complex quotient of a -dimensional quaternionic vector space by a -torus. In order to do so, we first prove that any compact anti…
Big mapping class groups of infinite type surfaces have infinite asymptotic dimension.
We introduce a concept of tree-graded metric space and we use it to show quasi-isometry invariance of certain classes of relatively hyperbolic groups, to obtain a characterization of relatively hyperbolic groups in terms of their asymptotic cones, to find geometric properties of Cayley graphs of relatively hyperbolic g…

Study homeomorphisms on fine curve graph of surfaces, revealing new types of dynamics.
Researchers derive asymptotic expansions for thermoelastic operators on manifolds.
Paper finds invariant solutions for Plateau problem in hyperbolic space.
This paper is devoted to study of transformations on metric spaces. It is done in an effort to produce qualitative version of quasi-isometries which takes into account the asymptotic behavior of the Gromov product in hyperbolic spaces. We characterize a quotient semigroup of such transformations on Teichmüller space by…
A nonnegative number d_infinity, called asymptotic dimension, is associated with any metric space. Such number detects the asymptotic properties of the space (being zero on bounded metric spaces), fulfills the properties of a dimension, and is invariant under rough isometries. It is then shown that for a class of open …
We study the asymptotic cones of the universal covering spaces of closed 4-dimensional nonpositively curved real analytic manifolds. We show that the existence of nonstandard components in the Tits boundary, discovered by Christoph Hummel and Victor Schroeder, depends only on the quasi-isometry type of the fundamental …
The abstract discusses embedding theorems for pseudo-Kähler manifolds.
This paper contains two main results. The first is the existence of an equivariant Weil-Petersson geodesic in Teichmueller space for any choice of pseudo-Anosov mapping class. As a consequence one obtains a classification of the elements of the mapping class group as Weil-Petersson isometries which is parallel to the T…
New patterns deform Farey triangulation in symmetric space.
We define a generalization of the fixed point set, called the bounded fixed set, for a group acting by isometries on a metric space. An analogue of the P. A. Smith theorem is proved for metric spaces of finite asymptotic dimension, which relates the coarse homology of the bounded fixed set to the coarse homology of the…
For a specific class of 4-manifolds, random isometries cannot lift to orientation-preserving diffeomorphisms.
Let be a Hadamard manifold with curvature bounded above by a negative constant , satisfying the "strict convexity condition", and assume that admits a "helicoidal" one-parameter subgroup of isometries of . Then, given a compact topological shaped hypersurface in the asymptotic boundary of $M,…
Given a discrete subgroup of the isometries of n-dimensional hyperbolic space there is always a region kept precisely invariant under the stabilizer of a parabolic fixed point, called the Margulis region. While in dimensions 2 and 3 this region is a horoball, it has in general a more complicated shape due to the existe…
Study on minimal surfaces in a specific homogeneous space with non-existence and construction results.
For all , we prove the existence of a one dimensional family of genus , constant mean curvature (equal to 1) surfaces which are complete, immersed in and have two Delaunay ends asymptotic to nodoïdal ends. Moreover, these surfaces are invariant under the group of isometries of …
We study doubly-periodic instantons, i.e. instantons on the product of a 1-dimensional complex torus T with a complex line C, with quadratic curvature decay. We determine the asymptotic behaviour of these instantons, constructing new asymptotic invariants. We show that the underlying holomorphic bundle extends to TxP1.…
Let be a globally symmetric space of noncompact type, and $Γ\subset\Isom(X)$ a Schottky group of axial isometries. Then is a locally symmetric Riemannian manifold of infinite volume. The goal of this note is to give an asymptotic estimate for the number of primitive closed geodesics in modulo free homo…
We introduce a new quasi-isometry invariant of metric spaces called the hyperbolic dimension, hypdim, which is a version of the Gromov's asymptotic dimension, asdim. The hyperbolic dimension is at most the asymptotic dimension, however, unlike the asymptotic dimension, the hyperbolic dimension of any Euclidean space R^…
We study the relationship between the geometry and the Laplace spectrum of a Riemannian orbifold O via its heat kernel; as in the manifold case, the time-zero asymptotic expansion of the heat kernel furnishes geometric information about O. In the case of a good Riemannian orbifold (i.e., an orbifold arising as the orbi…
Given a geodesic inside a simply-connected, complete, non-positively curved Riemannian (NPCR) manifold M, we get an associated geodesic inside the asymptotic cone Cone(M). Under mild hypotheses, we show that if the latter is contained inside a bi-Lipschitz flat, then the original geodesic supports a non-trivial, orthog…
Study optimal holomorphic extensions for jets along submanifolds as tensor powers increase.
This is the first in a series of papers concerned with Morse quasiflats, which are a generalization of Morse quasigeodesics to arbitrary dimension. In this paper we introduce a number of alternative definitions, and under appropriate assumptions on the ambient space we show that they are equivalent and quasi-isometry i…
For , we construct entire -graphs in that are parabolic and not invariant by one parameter groups of isometries of . Their asymptotic boundaries are ; they are dense at infinity. When the e…
