We prove a duality principle for a special class of submanifolds in pseudo-Euclidean spaces. This class of submanifolds with potential of normals is introduced in this paper. We construct a large class of pathological nn-dimensional topological spheres in Rn+1{\mathbb R}^{n+1} by showing that for any Cantor set CRn+1C\subset {\mathbb R}^{n+1} there is a topological embedding f:SnRn+1f:{\mathbb S}^n\to{\mathbb R}^{n+1} of the Sobolev class W1,nW^{1,n} whose image contains the Cantor set CC.
