In this paper, we proved that the Weil-Petersson volume of Calabi-Yau moduli is a rational number. We also proved that the integrations of the invariants of the Ricci curvature of the Weil-Petersson metric with respect to the Weil-Petersson volume form are all rational numbers.

Survey of methods for computing volumes of moduli spaces.
Moduli spaces of hyperbolic surfaces may be endowed with a symplectic structure via the Weil-Petersson form. Mirzakhani proved that Weil-Petersson volumes exhibit polynomial behaviour and that their coefficients store intersection numbers on moduli spaces of curves. In this survey article, we discuss these results as w…
We give an overview of the proof for Mirzakhani's volume recursion for the Weil-Petersson volumes of the moduli spaces of genus hyperbolic surfaces with labeled geodesic boundary components, and her application of this recursion to Witten's conjecture and the study of simple geodesic length spectrum growth rate…
A bijection proves a polynomial volume for genus-0 hyperbolic surfaces with boundaries.
We introduce a coarse combinatorial description of the Weil-Petersson distance d_WP(X,Y) between two finite area hyperbolic Riemann surfaces X and Y. The combinatorics reveal a connection between Riemann surfaces and hyperbolic 3-manifolds conjectured by Thurston: the volume of the convex core of the quasi-Fuchsian man…

Study of large- asymptotics for Weil-Petersson volumes of hyperbolic surfaces with cusps.
In this paper we proved that the Weil-Petersson volume of the Chern class of any order over the moduli space of Calabi-Yau manifolds is a rational number. We also found the necessary and sufficient condition of the incompleteness of Weil-Petersson metric in several variables case.
Gradient flow converges to a minimal convex structure.
This research extends topological recursion to hyperbolic surfaces with tight boundaries and conical defects.
In this paper, we define and study the Weil-Petersson geometry. Under the framework of the Weil-Petersson geometry, we study the Weil-Petersson metric and the Hodge metric. Among the other results, we represent the Hodge metric in terms of the Weil-Petersson metric and the Ricci curvature of the Weil-Petersson metric f…
Study on hyperbolic surfaces' volumes, proving asymptotic expansion for high genus.
Making use of the dual Bonahon-Schläfli formula, we prove that the dual volume of the convex core of a quasi-Fuchsian manifold is bounded by an explicit constant, depending only on the topology of , times the Weil-Petersson distance between the hyperbolic structures on the upper and lower boundary components of …
Computes volumes of metric maps on surfaces, linking to Weil-Petersson volumes.
Given a closed hyperbolic 3-manifold T_ψthat fibers over the circle with monodromy ψ: S -> S, the monodromy determines an isometry of Teichmuller space with its Weil-Petersson metric whose translation distance ||ψ||_WP is positive. We show there is a constant K >= 1 depending only on the topology of S so that the v…
The paper calculates the volume growth of hyperbolic surfaces with short geodesics.
We survey the renormalized volume of hyperbolic 3-manifolds, as a tool for Teichmuller theory, using simple differential geometry arguments to recover results sometimes first achieved by other means. One such application is McMullen's quasifuchsian (or more generally Kleinian) reciprocity, for which different arguments…
In this paper, we use the Weil-Petersson gradient flow for renormalized volume to study the space of convex cocompact hyperbolic structures on the relatively acylindrical 3-manifold . Among the cases of interest are the deformation space of an acylindrical manifold and the Bers slice of quasi-Fuchsia…
In this paper we study the systole function along Weil-Petersson geodesics. We show that the square root of the systole function is uniformly Lipschitz on Teichmüller space endowed with the Weil-Petersson metric. As an application, we study the growth of the Weil-Petersson inradius of moduli space of Riemann surfaces o…
Study shows systole behavior changes significantly for large genus hyperbolic surfaces.
A recent preprint of S. Kojima and G. McShane [KM] observes a beautiful explicit connection between Teichmüller translation distance and hyperbolic volume. It relies on a key estimate which we supply here: using geometric inflexibility of hyperbolic 3-manifolds, we show that for a closed surface, and $ψ\in \text{Mo…
In this note, we answer a question of Mirzakhani on asymptotic behavior of the one-point volume polynomial of moduli spaces of curves. We also present some applications of Mirzakhani's asymptotic formulae of Weil-Petersson volumes.
Thanks to a theorem of Brock on comparison of Weil-Petersson translation distances and hyperbolic volumes of mapping tori for pseudo-Anosovs, we prove that the entropy of a surface automorphism in general has linear bounds in terms of Gromov norm of its mapping torus from below and in bounded geometry case from above. …
We extend the Weil-Petersson metric to a projective variety with continuous local potentials.
Recursion formula derived for moduli spaces of hyperbolic surfaces with cone points.
Study infinite circle patterns in the Weil-Petersson class using discrete harmonic functions.
We show that the renormalized volume of a quasifuchsian hyperbolic 3-manifold is equal, up to an additive constant, to the volume of its convex core. We also provide a precise upper bound on the renormalized volume in terms of the Weil-Petersson distance between the conformal structures at infinity. As a consequence we…
To a complex projective structure on a surface, Thurston associates a locally convex pleated surface. We derive bounds on the geometry of both in terms of the norms and of the quadratic differential of given by the Schwarzian derivative of the associated locally univalent map.…
Compact Kahler-Einstein manifolds converge to semi-log canonical models.
Quasifuchsian hyperbolic manifolds, or more generally convex co-compact hyperbolic manifolds, have infinite volume, but they have a well-defined ``renormalized'' volume. We outline some relations between this renormalized volume and the volume, or more precisely the ``dual volume'', of the convex core. On one hand, the…
New compactification of Teichmüller space via renormalized volume.
We will discuss theoretical and experimental results concerning comparison of entropy of pseudo-Anosov maps and volume of their mapping tori. Recent study of Weil-Petersson geometry of the Teichmüller space tells us that they admit linear inequalities for both sides under some bounded geometry condition. We construct a…
This research connects combinatorial Teichmüller space geometry to Weil-Petersson geometry.
We prove Poisson approximation results for the bottom part of the length spectrum of a random closed hyperbolic surface of large genus. Here, a random hyperbolic surface is a surface picked at random using the Weil-Petersson volume form on the corresponding moduli space. As an application of our result, we compute the …
Using the identification of the symmetric space with the Teichmüller space of flat -tori of unit volume, we explore several metrics and compactifications of these spaces, drawing inspiration both from Teichmüller theory and symmetric spaces. We define and study analogs of t…
Thanks to a recent result by Jean-Marc Schlenker, we establish an explicit linear inequality between the normalized entropies of pseudo-Anosov automorphisms and the hyperbolic volumes of their mapping tori. As its corollaries, we give an improved lower bound for values of entropies of pseudo-Anosovs on a surface with f…
Let be a surface of negative Euler characteristic and consider a finite filling collection of closed curves on in minimal position. An observation of Foulon and Hasselblatt shows that is a finite-volume hyperbolic 3-manifold, where is the projectivized tangent bundle and $\ha…
We use ending laminations for Weil-Petersson geodesics to establish that bounded geometry is equivalent to bounded combinatorics for Weil-Petersson geodesic segments, rays, and lines. Further, a more general notion of non-annular bounded combinatorics, which allows arbitrarily large Dehn-twisting, corresponds to an equ…

Harmonic extension of Weil-Petersson circle homeomorphisms
Convexity properties of Weil-Petersson geodesics on the Teichmüller space of punctured Riemann surfaces are investigated. A normal form is presented for the Weil-Petersson Levi-Civita connection for pinched hyperbolic metrics. The normal form is used to establish approximation of geodesics in boundary spaces. Considera…
We extend Weil-Petersson theory to infinite type Teichmüller spaces.
We rigorously define the Liouville action functional for finitely generated, purely loxodromic quasi-Fuchsian group using homology and cohomology double complexes naturally associated with the group action. We prove that the classical action - the critical point of the Liouville action functional, considered as a funct…
