We study the Kepler metrics on Kepler manifolds from the point of view of Sasakian geometry and Hessian geometry. This establishes a link between the problem of classical gravity and the modern geometric methods in the study of AdS/CFT correspondence in string theory.
We study the complex geometry of generalized Kepler manifolds, defined in Jordan theoretic terms, introduce Hilbert spaces of holomorphic functions defined by radial measures, and find the complete asymptotic expansion of the corresponding reproducing kernels for Kähler potentials, both in the flat and bounded setting.
One can formulate the classical Kepler problem on the Heisenberg group, the simplest sub-Riemannian manifold. We take the sub-Riemannian Hamiltonian as our kinetic energy, and our potential is the fundamental solution to the Heisenberg sub-Laplacian. The resulting dynamical system is known to contain a fundamental inte…
Unified geometric description of Kepler flow across all energies.
For the Jordan algebra of hermitian matrices of order , we let be its submanifold consisting of rank-one semi-positive definite elements. The composition of the cotangent bundle map : with the canonical map (i.e., the map that sends a hermitian matrix to its column …
New symmetries discovered in Kepler's orbit family.
The MICZ-Kepler orbits are the non-colliding orbits of the MICZ Kepler problems (the magnetized versions of the Kepler problem). The oriented MICZ-Kepler orbits can be parametrized by the canonical angular momentum and the Lenz vector , with the parameter space consisting of the pairs of 3D vecto…
Posing Kepler's problem of motion around a fixed "sun" requires the geometric mechanician to choose a metric and a Laplacian. The metric provides the kinetic energy. The fundamental solution to the Laplacian (with delta source at the "sun") provides the potential energy. Posing Kepler's three laws (with input from Gali…
The main goal of the paper is to address the issue of the existence of Kempf's distortion function and the Tian-Yau-Zelditch (TYZ) asymptotic expansion for the Kepler manifold - an important example of non compact manfold. Motivated by the recent results for compact manifolds we construct Kempf's distortion function an…
Geometrically transforms nonconservative dynamics to linearize Kepler and Manev systems.
Explains planetary motion in a sub-Riemannian setting.
A Poisson realization of the simple real Lie algebra on the phase space of each -Kepler problem is exhibited. As a consequence one obtains the Laplace-Runge-Lenz vector for each classical -Kepler problem. The verification of these Poisson realizations is greatly s…
Darboux inverses explain Kepler orbits on curved surfaces.
In this paper we introduce a link between geometry of ordinary continued fractions and trajectories of points that moves according to the second Kepler law. We expand geometric interpretation of ordinary continued fractions to the case of continued fractions with arbitrary elements.
New schemes for SDEs on manifolds keep solutions close to the manifold.
We investigate the Cartan and Finsler geometry of the rotating Kepler problem, a limit case of the restricted three body problem that arises if the mass of the one of the primaries goes to zero. We show that the Hamiltonian for the rotating Kepler problem can be regarded as the Legendre transform of a certain family of…
Proof of Tait-Kneser theorem and related variations using Lorentzian geometry.
Investigates the rotating Kepler problem for energy values ≤ -3/2.
The Kepler-Heisenberg problem is that of determining the motion of a planet around a sun in the Heisenberg group, thought of as a three-dimensional sub-Riemannian manifold. The sub-Riemannian Hamiltonian provides the kinetic energy, and the gravitational potential is given by the fundamental solution to the sub-Laplaci…
The paper explores transformations between power law problems and geodesics on cones.
We consider the Kepler problem on surfaces of revolution that are homeomorphic to and have constant Gaussian curvature. We show that the system is maximally superintegrable, finding constants of motion that generalize the Runge-Lentz vector. Then, using such first integrals, we determine the class of surfaces tha…
In considering the mathematical problem of describing the geodesics on a torus or any other surface of revolution, there is a tremendous advantage in conceptual understanding that derives from taking the point of view of a physicist by interpreting parametrized geodesics as the paths traced out in time by the motion of…
The Kepler-Heisenberg problem is that of determining the motion of a planet around a sun in the sub-Riemannian Heisenberg group. The sub-Riemannian Hamiltonian provides the kinetic energy, and the gravitational potential is given by the fundamental solution to the sub-Laplacian. This system is known to admit closed orb…
In this study we introduce a new technique for symbolic regression that guarantees global optimality. This is achieved by formulating a mixed integer non-linear program (MINLP) whose solution is a symbolic mathematical expression of minimum complexity that explains the observations. We demonstrate our approach by redis…
We prove existence and multiplicity of periodic motions for the forced 2-body problem under conditions of topological character. In the different cases, the lower bounds obtained for the number of solutions are related to the winding number of a curve in the plane, the homology of a space in , the knot type of a …
Given a real vector space V of finite dimension, together with a particular homogeneous field of bivectors that we call a "field of projective forces", we define a law of dynamics such that the position of the particle is a "ray" i.e. a half-line drawn from the origin of V. The impulsion is a bivector whose support is …
New connections share geodesics with superintegrable systems.
This study uses deep learning to infer stellar parameters from short TESS and K2 observations.
The paper classifies second-order superintegrable systems with torsion and semi-degeneracy.
Marchal's lemma is the basic tool for eliminating collisions when using the direct method of the calculus of variations to establish existence of "designer" solutions to the classical N-body problem. Our goal here is to understand why Marchal's lemma holds, by taking a metric geometry perspective and employing the Jaco…
For a fundamental solution of Laplace's equation on the -radius -dimensional hypersphere, we compute the azimuthal Fourier coefficients in closed form in two and three dimensions. We also compute the Gegenbauer polynomial expansion for a fundamental solution of Laplace's equation in hyperspherical geometry in geo…
This text presents some basic notions in symplectic geometry, Poisson geometry, Hamiltonian systems, Lie algebras and Lie groups actions on symplectic or Poisson manifolds, momentum maps and their use for the reduction of Hamiltonian systems. It should be accessible to readers with a general knowledge of basic notions …
The paper studies connections in superintegrable systems, revealing geometric insights.
Probabilistic techniques are central to data analysis, but different approaches can be difficult to apply, combine, and compare. This paper introduces composable generative population models (CGPMs), a computational abstraction that extends directed graphical models and can be used to describe and compose a broad class…
The challenge of efficiently identifying anomalies in data sequences is an important statistical problem that now arises in many applications. Whilst there has been substantial work aimed at making statistical analyses robust to outliers, or point anomalies, there has been much less work on detecting anomalous segments…
Superintegrable systems are classical and quantum Hamiltonian systems which enjoy much symmetry and structure that permit their solubility via analytic and even, algebraic means. They include such well-known and important models as the Kepler potential, Calogero-Moser model, and harmonic oscillator, as well as its inte…
Unified product Lie groups and their quotient spaces are analyzed for dynamics.
As Deep Learning (DL) models have been increasingly used in latency-sensitive applications, there has been a growing interest in improving their response time. An important venue for such improvement is to profile the execution of these models and characterize their performance to identify possible optimization opportu…
TUV Austria proposes certification for ML applications to ensure reliability.
This is a prejudiced survey on the Ahlfors (extremal) function and the weaker {\it circle maps} (Garabedian-Schiffer's translation of "Kreisabbildung"), i.e. those (branched) maps effecting the conformal representation upon the disc of a {\it compact bordered Riemann surface}. The theory in question has some well-known…

In 1972, K. Kenmotsu studied a class of almost contact Riemannian manifolds. Later, such a manifold was called a Kenmotsu manifold. This paper, we studied Kenmotsu manifolds with -dimensional contact metric manifold and this manifold, we have called generalized Kenmotsu manifolds. Necessary and sufficient c…
