12 results for H-graphs

This paper proves a conjecture linking quantum modular forms and WRT invariants for specific graphs.

problem Proving a conjecture about quantum modular forms and WRT invariants for unimodular H-graphs.
method Constructed finite sums of rational functions, studied weighted Gauss sums, and combined results to prove the conjecture.
result WRT invariants of H-graphs yield quantum modular forms of depth two and weight one.

The paper solves a specific Dirichlet problem for constant mean curvature surfaces in a particular manifold.

problem Existence and uniqueness of constant mean curvature graphs with prescribed asymptotic values.
method Defined a new product compactification for the homogeneous manifold and proved the existence of entire H-graphs.
result Existence and uniqueness of entire H-graphs with prescribed asymptotic values.

We show that C^1 hypersurfaces in the Heisenberg group are countably N-rectifiable. As a corollary, this shows that all C^1_H graphs over the xy-plane are countable N-rectifiable, showing the equivalence of this notion of rectifiability with that of Franchi, Serra Cassano and Serapioni for such surfaces.

We prove that a strictly stable minimal Ch2C^2_h intrinsic graph G is locally area-minimizing, i.e. given any Ch1C^1_h graph SS with the same boundary, Area(G)<Area(S)\text{Area}(G)<\text{Area}(S) unless G=SG=S. As a consequence we show the existence and the uniqueness of CC^\infty minimal graphs with prescribed small boundary datum…

For 0H<1/20\leq H< 1/2, we construct entire HH-graphs in H2×R\mathbb{H}^2\times\mathbb{R} that are parabolic and not invariant by one parameter groups of isometries of H2×R\mathbb{H}^2\times\mathbb{R}. Their asymptotic boundaries are (H2)×R(\partial_\infty\mathbb{H}^2)\times\mathbb{R}; they are dense at infinity. When H=0H=0 the e…

In this paper we study new invariants Z^a(q)\widehat{Z}_{\boldsymbol{a}}(q) attached to plumbed 33-manifolds that were introduced by Gukov, Pei, Putrov, and Vafa. These remarkable qq-series at radial limits conjecturally compute WRT invariants of the corresponding plumbed 33-manifold. Here we investigate the series $\wi…

In this paper we consider a ``flow'' of nonparametric solutions of the volume constrained Plateau problem with respect to a convex planar curve. Existence and regularity is obtained from standard elliptic theory, and convexity results for small volumes are obtained as an immediate consequence. Finally, the regularity i…
