48 results for Frolicher inequality

We study Bott-Chern and Aeppli cohomologies of a vector space endowed with two anti-commuting endomorphisms whose square is zero. In particular, we prove an inequality à la Frölicher relating the dimensions of the Bott-Chern and Aeppli cohomologies to the dimensions of the Dolbeault cohomologies. We prove that the equa…

We prove a Frölicher-type inequality for a compact generalized complex manifold MM, and show that the equality holds if and only if MM satisfies the generalized ˉ\partial\bar{\partial}-Lemma. In particular, this gives a unified proof of analogous results in the complex and symplectic cases.

Frolicher spaces and smooth mappings form a cartesian closed category. It was shown in our previous paper [Far East Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 35 (2009), 211-233] that its full subcategory of Weil exponentiable Frolicher spaces is cartesian closed. By emancipating microlinearity from within a well-adapted model …

Frölicher spaces form a cartesian closed category which contains the category of smooth manifolds as a full subcategory. Therefore, mapping groups such as C^\infty(M,G) or \Diff(M), but also projective limits of Lie groups are in a natural way objects of that category, and group operations are morphisms in the category…
