48 results for Behavioral analytics

The increasing accessibility of data provides substantial opportunities for understanding user behaviors. Unearthing anomalies in user behaviors is of particular importance as it helps signal harmful incidents such as network intrusions, terrorist activities, and financial frauds. Many visual analytics methods have bee…

A behavior of extreme networks under deformations of their boundary sets is investigated. It is shown that analyticity of a deformation of boundary set guarantees preservation of the networks types for minimal spanning trees, minimal fillings and so-called stable shortest trees in the Euclidean space.

We define analytic torsion of Z_2-graded elliptic complexes as an element in the graded determinant line of the cohomology of the complex, generalizing most of the variants of Ray-Singer analytic torsion in the literature. It applies to a myriad of new examples, including flat superconnection complexes, twisted analyti…

In this paper we prove a universal inequality describing the asymptotic behavior of support points for planar continuous curves. As corollaries we get an analogous result for tangent points of differentiable planar curves and some (partially known) assertions on the asymptotic of the mean value points for various class…

We prove that the mass endomorphism associated to the Dirac operator on a Riemannian manifold is non-zero for generic Riemannian metrics. The proof involves a study of the mass endomorphism under surgery, its behavior near metrics with harmonic spinors, and analytic perturbation arguments.

The detrending moving average (DMA) algorithm is one of the best performing methods to quantify the long-term correlations in nonstationary time series. We investigate the Kähler-Ricci flow modified by a holomorphic vector field. We find equivalent analytic criteria for the convergence of the flow to a Kähler-Ricci soliton. In addition, we relate the asymptotic behavior of the scalar curvature along the flow to the lower boundedness of the modified Mabuchi energy.
